Eleanor Laws KC was instructed to advise on the case of Mr A, a prominent socialite, who faced two sets of complaints: one set of offences in Paris relating to claims of abuse alleged to have taken place in St Barts and Paris, and another allegation from a separate complainant in the UK. Eleanor advised pre-charge on both cases, following which the CPS have refused to charge following a letter of representations.
